If unit has Crest of Charon, unit gains FoudroyantĬounts as a magic attack. When unit initiates combat, unit will attack twice. ![]() Used to forge Iron, Steel, Silver, or Brave Sword or Mercurius. Unit gains Beast Fang when paired with Crest of the Beast.Įxclusive to Thales. Obtained from Rodrigue during Chapter 15: The Valley of TormentĬounts as a magic attack. Effect increases when paired with Crest of Fraldarius. Effect increases when paired with Crest of Riegan. Unit restores HP equal to 50% of damage dealt. Southeast chest in Chapter 5: Tower of Black WindsĮffective against armored and cavalry units Can be obtained after defeating her in Chapter 18: To the End of a Dream. If unit has Crest of Charon, unit gains Foudroyant.ĭefault weapon of Catherine. Obtained after Assault at the Rite of Rebirth (Chapter 4) The tables include the weapon’s name, its stats, and how to obtain it. Truly she is worthless, and the worst unit in the game.Below is a list of weapons in Fire Emblem: Three Houses divided by type. Plus to recruit her you have to fight Deen instead and his map is inarguably worse. The only thing she could potentially do with Excalibur is fight Arcanists which is hardly useful on such a frail and immobile unit as her. You wanna use Seraphim and Sagittae to kill those dudes instead, which other mages (Celica, Mae, Boey, Nomah) have access to. The enemies you want to kill with magic have good res and Excalibur only has 5 Mt. Excalibur rocks on Alm route, but it's actually kinda bad for Celica route. She's a level 5 Mage with Fire, Thunder, and Excalibur. In hindsight, this run should've benched Deen entirely and given the resources he got to other people, namely Leon.ĮDIT: For posterity's sake, I'll mention Sonya, since she is also recruitable but can't be recruited if you pick Deen. Saber does everything I need and Deen just kinda sits back and doesn't contribute to actual clears, instead focusing on gaining exp. But pretty much every map after he joins has no need for a second Dread Fighter. It's not that his stats are bad or anything, as they're quite good and he can hit Dread Fighter pretty reasonably. But that's about it.ĭeen is not actually very useful in this run, sadly. Her best use is supporting her sisters, since she grants them extra crit. Garbage bases, super low level, joins late. Bad decisions in the name of Deen are kind of a running theme here.Įst sucks, as you can probably tell. And in my stubbornness to use Deen, I go grind 46 silver in the dungeon to forge his Brave Sword up to 1 star, now named Old Unreliable. Back in the village, I forge up the Killer Bow to 1 star, now named Seal Life (why seal their stats when you can seal their lives, after all). ![]() I grab some treasure, including a book needed for a quest in the Mountain Village. The Dragon Shrine has a "mandatory" fight against some dragons guarding treasure, so I take them on in a simple 1 turn clear. I also realize just now that I left in footage of a reset by accident where I forgot to turn on the world map spawns code and a paladin spawned. Catria hits level 12 off this encounter, getting her to Falcon Knight! Atlas hist Sniper too. ![]() Turns out this was a dumb idea, as you'll see later in the run. I was determined to train up Deen, so rather than have Saber ORKO all those fools, I rigged Deen to crit each of them. The pegs deal with the boss and his Archer friend while the myrms and archers take on the rest. It's also one of the only places in the game where a Triangle Attack isn't a complete joke, even if I don't go for it. Thankfully this is a much more forgiving map compared to Grieth. Leon and Atlas are gonna be using this thing a lot. With my newfound wealth, I can finally forge my first Killer Bow. My grandfather (aka Deen) comes along with his Brave Sword, and Est shows up too. Inside the fortress, I pick up lots of money and other valuables, including the Fugue Shield (this nets me a Golden Apple for a quest) and a Pegasus Cheese. Normally I would get Atlas promoted after this map but because it's so awful and I refused to do it again, he has to wait some more. And the kicker to all of this is that Genny couldn't learn Physic until the last turn of this map. Leon does try to help support them, but it's still a pain in the ass. Palla, Catria, and Saber do the bulk of the work on this map, but they struggle a ton. Your units start too far in the back, there are tiles everywhere, so many enemies, desert terrain in the most obnoxious places, tons of ranged enemies, a Cantor in the back on a heal tile, lots of enemy Mercenaries, and Grieth himself. It took me 3 hours to record Grieth's map.
